FIRST BROADCASTING EXPANDS SPECTRUM INNOVATION LAB; NAMES ROBERT W. DENNY, JRSENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHAIRAND AL KENYON DIRECTOR TECHNOLOGY AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
DALLAS -- (February 14, 2006) -- First Broadcasting Investment Partners, LLC, a leading broadcast and technology company focused on investments and emerging radio technologies, today announced the addition of three new radio frequency scientists and engineers to its team of resident Spectrum Innovation Laboratory experts. Respected industry veteran Robert W. Denny, Jr., P.E. has been named Senior Vice President, Technology and will direct all of the company’s technical initiatives including First Broadcasting’s ground-breaking Spectrum Innovation Lab. Bertram S. Goldman will remain honorary chair of the Spectrum Lab and will work closely with Mr. Denny. In addition to Mr. Denny, First Broadcasting also announced the addition of former Clear Channel Communications senior vice president Al Kenyon as Director, Technology and Project Management and the addition of Tiffany Ligon as Spectrum Lab technical analyst. The Spectrum Lab is the country’s first technical facility devoted exclusively to the study of digital and analog RF signal propagation including the development of sophisticated software tools to predict and measure such signals. Located in Dallas, the Lab houses a diverse team of resident technical professionals including experts in RF, signal propagation, complex software algorithms and related computational modeling.

Prior to joining First Broadcasting, Mr. Denny was founder and CEO of Denny & Associates, a consulting engineering firm in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he served as president of the renowned broadcast engineering firm, Jules Cohen & Associates, where he worked directly with industry legend Jules Cohen. Mr. Denny received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, and a member and past officer of the Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers. He also is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Society of Broadcast Engineers, and many other professional organizations.
